The 1888 Homestead Cottage is a 4 Season 12’, 16’ or 20’ wide 12/12 pitch engineered Cottage with the look and appeal of days gone by. Wall panels have insulation installed in each panel. Headers and rough openings for doors and windows are installed in the panel where needed for quick and easy installation. Each wall panel has 5/8 rough sawn textured plywood for an air tight panel and the batten strips are assembled when possible. The square front gable panels are also pre-assembled for easy construction. To create a clean smooth finish on the interior of its walls we supply our ¾” tongue and groove and end-matched select knotty pine paneling, which when installed leaves no exposed panelized construction on cottage walls. The 2’ wide roof panels have soffit vent and the insulation installed hidden above the exposed 3/4 “x 6” tongue & groove select knotty pine paneling; this gives an open beam cathedral ceiling elegance for easy living in all 4 seasons.
